I am Amber, wife to Brendan and mom to Ingrid and Otis. We live in Bay View, a great neighborhood in Milwaukee. I started sewing when my daughter was a baby, and somehow my little shop Applesauce Crafts was born. I have been making bibs and blankets, bunnies and burp cloths, for the past five years and recently started selling in area shops and doing shows. I also have a vintage children's clothing shop on etsy called Toadstool Vintage. My love of vintage has been life long, and even before I had a boyfriend I started collecting kid's clothes for "one day." When my daughter was born, it was so fun to put her in them finally! Then it became a thought that I didn't want to leave anything cute behind even if it wasn't the right size, so I started buying for my pal Heather's shop, 3RingCircus. One day I decided I'd like to open my own shop, so now I juggle being mom to two, school runs, keeping up with our house, sewing, and trying to have date nights with the mister!
It's a busy life but I love it!
